How to Submit the Online Passport application form
There are many ways to apply for the Passport! However most of the people like to make it online so that it does not creates any problem! However if you are unaware of how to come up with downloading and then submitting the Online application form for passport then here is a short guide to help you. All you have to do is to follow the steps and then work accordingly!
The first most things which you need to do is to register the Passport application form from the online portal. You can get it from different sites or you can directly go to official Passport of India website with http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/printForm.
The next step which you needed to do is to register to the Passport Seva Online Portal and then open your portal of the Passport Seva Online Portal with the help of your Login I.D.
Now you have to click on the application link of a new/Renewal of Passport! Even if you are willing to get a new passport or for renewal of your old one, you should still click on the same link!
Now what you have to do is to carefully fill up the application form and then utilize it to submit. Remember one thing that even a single mistake will filling up the form may charge up too heavy on you. So you must do everything quite carefully!
The next thing to do is to fill up the form and then click on the Pay and Schedule Appointment to fix an appointment! However there are different gateways present for you to make the payment. Some more options are:
- Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard and Visa)
- Internet Banking (State Bank of India (SBI) and Associate Banks Only)
- SBI Bank Challan
Now all you have to do is to Print Application Receipt. Once you click on passport application status the print receipt, you may have to carry this to the appointment! So what you have to do is to print the application receipt containing Application Reference Number.
Last what you have to do is to visit the Passport Seva Kendra and submit all details at the time of appointment!
